Rooftop Reds Tours & Tastings

Date/Time: Wednesdays, 7:00 PM. Location: Brooklyn, NY. Didn’t know there’s a winery located on a roof in the Brooklyn Navy Yard? Well there is, and every Wednesday evening they offer a tour, along with a cheese and wine tasting. Attendees can try wines made from city vines, as well as from their vineyards on Keuka Lake in the Finger Lakes. James Suckling’s Great Wines of The World

Date/Time: June 2 and June 3rd, 3:00 - 5:30 PM or 6:00 - 8:30 PM. Location: The Altman Building, 135 West 18th St. Tour the world by tasting top-scoring wines, all of which were rated at least 92 points, and many of which made it onto the JamesSuckling.com Top 100 Wines of 2021 list. A selection of 400+ wines will be available for tasting, poured by owners and winemakers from iconic wineries like Michael Mondavi, Champagne Laurent Perrier, Château Giscours and Catena Zapata. Decanter Fine Wine Encounter

Date/Time: Saturday, June 18th, 10:30 AM - 6:00 PM. Location: Bay Room at Manhatta, 28 Liberty St. This inaugural one day event, organized by world renowned Decanter magazine, includes a Grand Tasting of fine wines from all over the world, with top producers like Champagne Henriot, Heitz Cellars and Domaine Chevalier. Throughout the day, there will be fun and informative classes taught by Master Sommeliers and other wine industry experts. Sotheby’s Wines, An Evening with the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux.

Date/Time: June 27th, 6:30 - 9:00 PM. Location: Cipriani, 110 East 42nd St. The UGC is an organization whose members are top estates from the most prestigious Bordeaux appellations, and attendees will be among the first to taste 100+ of the soon-to-be-released wines from the 2019 vintage. Compagnie des Vins Surnaturels Wine Boot Camp Classes

Date/Time: June 12 & 26, 4:30 PM or 6:00 PM. Location: 249 Centre St. These entertaining, one-hour long classes, held in a relaxed atmosphere, are a great way to enhance your wine education.
